It was the dream of the renowned AV Subrahmanian Panicker from Avanangattil Kalari, often referred to as AVS Panicker who was a devout believer in God and had a deep understanding of the profound and limitless possibilities of astrology that lead to the realization of Kerala Jyothisha Parishath in the year 1971 based at Thrissur which became the epicenter of astrological studies in Kerala.
